The Palio of Municipalities

A great challenge between bell towers takes place every year at the San Paolo di Montegiorgio hippodrome in an atmosphere of authentic passion. To compete for the palio, in the trot race, the Committees of the Municipalities discuss the horse that must represent them and the modalities of participation in the great event scheduled at the end of November. Magliano won the first edition in 1989 and, more recently, in 2015 and 2016.
